I read on the news about huge fires, earthquakes, and floods. I read about all these people with ruined homes, cities evacuated, lives lost. I keep thinking, "Isn't there some way to predict these things?" Don't we have scientists who just study earthquakes, and water patterns, and other environmental factors? Aren't there people who's sole job it is to know when and where these things are going to happen?These people need to do their jobs better. They need to help me be in the wrong place at the right time.
